Carson Graham Secondary is alerting parents of a Grade 12 class of a potential COVID-19 exposure – the second one announced by the school this week.

School administrators informed parents via letter on Thursday that someone who had tested positive had been among a Grade 12 class of students and staff on Monday, Nov. 23.

While Vancouver Coastal Health is overseeing contact tracing and ensuring anyone who is at high risk of being infected or contagious self-isolates, the Grade 12 class is only being asked to self-monitor for symptoms.

Earlier this week, an entire Grade 12 class was told to self-isolate after being exposed to the virus on Nov. 18 and 19.

Queen Mary Elementary in North Vancouver and Ecole Cedardale and Sentinel Secondary families have also received official COVID-19 exposure warnings this week.
