The Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation is recognizing Ladner’s Peter Blair.
The local woodworker and crafter, teamed up with local artists and raised $3,660 for Delta Hospital through an online auction and a campaign called Hearts for Heroes, which the Optimist wrote about several weeks ago.
Thank you to Peter, Jordy Johnson of Carving Fusion, Phil Groop, and Rob Brodowich for creating and donating some amazing pieces and to everyone who purchased one of these special pieces.
The Foundation also wants to give a shout-out to Bob Matheson of Tsawwassen Home Building Centre who donated some supplies directly to Peter.
