The Port of Vancouver and the non-profit Fraser Basin Council (FBC) will host a free online presentation “Accelerating Sustainability through Collaboration” on Wednesday, Sept. 2 as part of the Port’s virtual speaker series.

FBC’s Executive Vice President Bob Purdy will tell how FBC helps foster collaborative dialogue to create coalitions for sustainability action. He will speak about collaborative regional projects on Lower Mainland flood management, wood debris management on the Fraser River, and the ECHO program, led by the port authority, to improve safety for killer whales in shipping areas.
