The DSS dry grad committee will be selling raffle tickets around the community, including at Safeway on Dec. 1, Budget Foods on Dec. 2 and Save-on-Foods on Dec. 9.

Tickets will also be sold at DSS at lunch time on Dec. 13 and 14.

The draw will be on Dec. 19 at lunch at the school.

Other fundraising initiatives by the committee include piggybanks in local businesses, account #246 at the Ladner Bottle Depot, meat draws at The Landing on Dec. 22, Jan. 5 and Jan. 20, and a New Year's Eve dance at the Ladner Community Centre.

The committee is working to organize a fun and alcohol-free graduation night for the grads and can't do it without the support of the community.

The committee has a Facebook page called Delta Secondary Dry Grad 2013 (Ladner) and the fundraising chair can be contacted at dssdrygrad2013@gmail. com.
