A classic Norm Foster script brought to the local stage by the Sidekick Players Club, The Affections of May runs Thursday to Saturday until Sept. 29.

Directed by Carroll Lefebvre, the play features lots of laughs, but also has some good life lessons interwoven throughout the dialogue.

When the production opened last week, it marked the return of Laura Sutherland-Smith to the Sidekick stage after a 10year absence. She received rave reviews in her role as May Henning, the lead character.

Also in the cast are Derek Christiansen, Ted Hubert and Simon Mortimer-Lamb. All three talented gents were in last season's production of Twelve Angry Men.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors (60+) and students (16 to 18). All performances are at 8 p.m.

Seating is bistro style with refreshments available to enjoy during the performance. Seating is limited.
