The Tsawwassen Library is holding its' annual book sale on Friday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. This one-day affair will offer paperbacks only. Birds in Focus - Photography Workshop at Cammidge House, Boundary Bay Regional Park on Sunday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Workshop leader will be local photographer Ursula Easterbrook. This is a workshop that explores basic to advanced photography skills, techniques, digital aspects, equipment selection, places to go and more. Bring your camera (film or digital), tripod, film/card and anything else you might need to photograph birds during the practice session in the park - trained raptors may be available. B.C. Guide Dog Services needs volunteers to help raise a future guide dog for the blind or autism support dog for a child. The dog will live with you from seven weeks to 15 months of age. 24/7 staff support. Food and vet expenses covered. SPECIAL EVENTS

Many of the churches of South Delta are meeting at the South Delta Baptist Church on March 2 at 1:30 p.m. for the annual World Day of Prayer service. The country of focus this year is Malaysia and the theme is Let Justice Prevail. The service includes readings, prayer and a speaker from Malaysia. Refreshments will follow. Everyone is welcome.

St. Andrew's Church invites you to come participate in a discussion on the future of a new Anglican family and youth ministry in South Delta.
