The New Tsawwassen Springs Tuesday Ladies Golf Club is accepting new members for the 2017 season. Shred-a-thon – Protect your identity and confidential information by bringing all your documents to be shredded by Urban Impact on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Tim Hortons in Tsawwassen. Delta Gymnastics athletes will assist you in removing boxes and bags from your vehicle. Donations accepted and will be used to assist athletes as they pursue their dreams to compete in western and national level competitions.

Gallery 1710 presents Take Five, an art show featuring Mary Ellen Bullock, Eileen Fong, Laurel Johnson, Lea Price and Marlene Strain, which kicks off on Jan. 25 and ends Feb. 5. An opening reception Saturday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. features music by Steven Wright. Light refreshments will be served. Gallery 1710 is located at 1710-56th St., right beside the South Delta Recreation Centre. The show is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday.
