Delta Hospital Foundation received a $3,200 gift from Knights of Columbus, North Surrey Council to purchase a Hi-Low bed for Mountain View Manor, Delta Hospital's busy extended care unit.

The facility provides a home for 92 seniors who require complex care and can no longer live independently. Hi-Low beds play an important role in hospital and residential care settings by reducing risk of injury from falling out of bed.

The Knights of Columbus are a longstanding charitable organization that assists and undertakes many worthy community initiatives. Since 2013, the Knights of Columbus, North Surrey Council has given over $16,000 to Delta Hospital Foundation for the purchase of priority medical equipment.

"We are proud to do our part to support the four hospitals in Surrey, Langley and Delta," says Roy Anorico, grand knight of the North Surrey Council. "Delta Hospital provides great health care to the growing community of Delta, and we will continue our support of Delta Hospital Foundation however we can."
