Let’s take a step back in time this Canada Day and check out the annual Methodist Church picnic held at Beach Grove on July 1, 1913. At the time the photograph was taken, Beach Grove was known as Grauer's Beach.

As far Canada Day, it was originally called Dominion Day before being renamed in 1982.
