Let’s head back in time to early last century and check out the Ladner Hotel located on Wetsham Street, now called 48th Avenue.
In the early 1920s the hotel was destroyed by fire. The nearby Delta Hotel at the corner of Elliot and Chisholm streets also burned down a couple of years later.
