For the second year in a row, a group of elementary students from Tsawwassen has raised $3,000 to support B.C. Children's Hospital through the Festival of Trees campaign.

The students are passionate about helping other kids in need, hence the name of their fundraising team: Kids 4 Kids.

Alia Kahn, Taylin McGill, Monica Muzinski and Madeline McCart collected donations to purchase a tree as part of the hospital's Festival of Trees. After raising the money, the students decorated their tree, which is located in the Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown Vancouver.

The local youngsters attended a celebration banquet afterwards at which they received the "Most Green Tree" award.

The trees will be on display until Jan. 2. V
