The South Delta Artists Guild is hosting its annual juried art show, Oil & Water, starting tomorrow at the Kiwanis Longhouse Center for the Visual Arts in Tsawwassen.
An opening reception with be held that evening in the gallery with an awards ceremony taking place at 6: 30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
The yearly show attracts some of the best artists and work from around the Lower Mainland, and is juried by well-known artists from outside of the South Delta Artists Guild.
Prize money has been donated from local businesses, as well as the Delta Arts Council, and first prize of $500 has been donated by the guild.
The show will be open six days a week, including Thursday evenings, until Aug. 25. Art work in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolour, drawing and other mediums will be displayed.
