Fortunately, many of our seniors are living longer and in better health and often their interests lie in how to enhance their physical, mental health, safety and wellness as they age. If we are presented with a crossroads decision to enter long term care and or supportive living, what can we expect?
The Delta Division of Family Practice will be facilitating conversations and more, on Saturday, May 4 at Ladner United Church, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. the Delta Division of Family Practice, invites you to participate in the Healthy Aging Resource & Information Fair.
The Fair will have a schedule of speakers, giving presentations throughout the day as well as information booths and a number of demonstrations for healthy aging. The day promises to be informative and fun! Lunch is included and door prizes will be given out throughout the day.
Presentations will cover a wide range of topics to include healthy aging, exercise, personal planning and wills, advance care planning, what to expect when moving into a long-term care home and more. Presenters include Delta Police, Fraser Health, Public Notary Daniel Boisvert, Dr. Carllin Mann and Lifeline Help Alert Devices.
