This year, St. David’s House Society in Tsawwassen, a non-profit senior’s residence that provides affordable housing for those over 65, was the recipient of a $12,000 grant. This allowed for the conversion of a bathroom into an accessible shower room for the residents of all abilities to be able to use comfortably.

“This is a project we have wanted to do for some time now, but we were not able to until now due to the costs involved. We are incredibly grateful to Paulette Kelsey and the members of the Boundary Bay IODE for this amazing gift for our residents,” said Tara Foote, manager of operations.
