IODE Boundary Bay Chapter, a Canadian ladies registered charity, continues to support programs at South Delta Secondary.

Earlier this month a cheque for $900 was presented to principal Terry Ainge providing funds for a fine arts program and for purchase of food for a lunch program at the alternate school.

The lunch program is supported annually by IODE, and it is important to the continued progress of students enrolled in this successful program.

In past years IODE has provided funds for the automotive program, the textiles program, the library and some studentsponsored activities.

IODE Boundary Bay Chapter conducts annual fundraising and contributes the majority of the funds raised to support activities in Delta. Programs supported include: Delta Stroke Recovery Society, South Delta and Delta secondary schools, books for South Delta elementary schools and BC & Alberta Guide Dogs.

In addition, money is provided for two community meals in Ladner and to the St. David's Church seniors residence in Tsawwassen.
