The Ladner Pioneer Library is offering a six-week workshop called Living with Chronic Conditions Self-Management, which starts on Feb. 4.

Would you like to learn how to optimize your quality of life while dealing with chronic health conditions such as heart disease, asthma, mental health challenges, MS, Parkinson’s, etc.?

The Ladner Pioneer Library is offering a six-week Living with Chronic Conditions Self-Management program for adults on Saturdays, beginning Feb. 4 and running until March 11, with the sessions running from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Gain knowledge, skills and confidence in your ability to manage your health.

This workshop, in partnership with the University of Victoria Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health, was developed and researched at Stanford University. It follows demonstrated proven methods that have shown to help people learn to better manage the symptoms of their health condition.
