Tsawwassen Legion is among the first Legions in Canada to offer a bursary in support of the new Military Skills Conversion Program being offered at BCIT. Master Corporal Alex Hargott (middle), pictured with Al Wakarchuk (left) and Tsawwassen Legion president Bob Wilkinson, recently received $1,500 from the Tsawwassen Legion Poppy Fund to assist in his studies towards a business degree. The program is set up to recognize the value of field experience and training during active duty and provide educational credits towards degree programs.
