Local libraries will be busy places next week.

The Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience will bring live milking and calf feeding demonstrations to the Ladner Pioneer Library and George Mackie Library.

Equipped with a milking machine, cows and knowledgeable staff, the Mobile Dairy Classroom is intended to entertain and inform. It will be in Ladner on Tuesday, July 22 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and in North

Delta on Friday, July 25, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. The week continues with a Summer Reading Club performance by improvisers from Second Storey Theatre.

During a 45-minute show the cast of performers will create a one-of-a-kind adventure that is entirely inspired by audience suggestions. It's like a chooseyour-own-adventure book that is unfolding right before your very eyes.

The program is suitable for ages six and up. It will be held on Thursday, July 24 at the Tsawwassen Library at 11 a.m. and later that day at the Ladner Pioneer Library at 2 p.m. It will also take place at the George Mackie Library on Friday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m.
