Library program looks at various ways to trim household expenses

Catherine Ching, a financial educator with the Credit Counselling Society, has a passion for sharing the importance of financial literacy. She will be at the library on Thursday, May 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Program participants will discover practical and easy ways to reduce utility, cable, phone and Internet bills; reduce grocery bills; trim personal expenses and more.

Participants will come for the information but leave with Ching's contagious enthusiasm and the know-how to get the most bang for your bucks.

The program will also be offered at the George Mackie Library on Tuesday, June 6 and at the Ladner Pioneer Library on Thursday, June 15. Both will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
