Pink Ribbon Tea at McKee to benefit breast cancer

A Pink Ribbon Tea fundraiser is planned for later this month at the McKee Seniors' Recreation Centre in Ladner. The second annual event, hosted by Ladner Richmond Jazzercise, benefits the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

There will be a silent auction, 50/50 draw and performances from Free Flight Dance and

Tsawwassen teen singer Connor Nelson, who recently won the Youth Talent Search BC 2014 finals with a rendition of Etta James' I'd Rather Go Blind.

Besides tea there will be coffee, water, small sandwiches and sweet dainties. Nite of Hope Richmond chair Shelley Leonhardt will serve as emcee while guests include breast cancer survivor Jules Sesia and Dr. Ian Gardiner.
