Last year’s Reach for the Stars fundraising gala raised $160,000 to support children and youth with diverse needs at Reach Child and Youth Development Society.

The 2023 themed La Belle Vie gala featured characters in costume. This year’s gala is Alice in Wonderland themed and will include a host of colourful characters from Delta Youth Theatre and guests will also enjoy a live performance.

Reach Society’s ‘Wishes and Wonder’ Gala arrives June 1 at Tsawwassen Springs Ballroom and promises an evening of magic and whimsy.

“Reach is dedicated to improving quality of life for families,” said Tamara Veitch, Reach Society events coordinator. “This year’s Gala is dedicated to ensuring childhood is a place of wonder, where wishes do come true.”

Reach hopes to surpass the 2023 gala total and the non-profit gratefully welcomes back REALCO Properties as Major Donor, Vancouver Fraser Port Authority as Presenting Sponsor and Beedie as Platinum Sponsor and Steve Darling as emcee.

Guests can expect entertainment, live and silent auctions, complimentary welcome cocktail, appetizers and a three-course plated dinner with wine, as well as an inside look at Reach Services directly from client families.

Ticket price is $250. (Early Bird tickets are available for $200 until April 15th). The silent auction will be open online prior to the event and is open to the entire community.
