All uked up and no place to jam? Whether you're a ukulele newbie or a seasoned strummer, join fellow uke enthusiasts at the Tsawwassen Library this summer.

Library Ukulele Jam will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month (May 21, June 18, July 16 and Aug. 20). It offers a fun and relaxed evening with fellow musicians.

The program can feature anywhere from 12 to 22 people of all ages and abilities plucking their strings in friendly and joyful camaraderie.

A variety of music will be represented, everything from Irish ballads, standards of the war years and great groups of the 1970s to torch singers, boy bands and current pop hits.

Sheet music and lyrics will be provided for those participants that feel like singing along.
