It seems last week's big windstorm left an artist's outdoor carving work unscathed for the most part in Ladner.
In an email to the Optimist a reader noted only one of the collection of nearly 30 whimsical wood carvings on the trails in Ladner Marsh was impacted from the storm and that in some cases large trees came within inches.
The carvings are along two trails near the north end of Ferry Road that lead to the estuary.
It was previously reported the artist would like to remain anonymous.
