Boat tour winners!

The winners of this summer’s draw for a tour on the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue boat – the Spirit of Delta 5 were Chris Schindelhauer and his son Nick. They joined the RCM SAR crew of Dale Anaka, Hans Verbeek and Terry Bowman.

The winners of this summer’s draw for a tour on the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue boat – the Spirit of Delta 5 were Chris Schindelhauer and his son Nick. They joined the RCM SAR crew of Dale Anaka, Hans Verbeek and Terry Bowman. Chris said he was impressed with the state of the art navigation equipment, radar and smooth powerful engines, and Nick loved the boat’s shock absorber system, giving a smooth ride in rough seas. RCM SAR is an all-volunteer charity on-call 24/7 365 days a year dedicated to save lives on the water. They are trained in navigation, marine first aid, maritime radio operations, heavy weather boating and boating safety. Interested volunteers should contact [email protected].submitted
