Delta Hospital Auxiliary president Robbi Schultes addresses the crowd gathered at Delta Hospital last Tuesday for Auxiliary Day. The auxiliary has hundreds of volunteers that donate their time to the hospital in many ways. In the last year, the Delta Hospital Auxiliary has contributed $125,000 for the purchase of a new bus for Mountain View Manor as well as hundreds of thousands for medical equipment, recreation programs and music therapy, and bursaries for hospital staff and local students. Schultes told the group the auxiliary is halfway to its goal of raising $2.5 million to contribute to the lab services and medical imaging expansion project.
