The Delta Choral Society is welcoming new members to it's awardwinning pair of choirs, the Delta Community Choir and Tapestry.
An audition for pitch and placement is required for the DCC and a full audition is required for Tapestry (accompanist provided).
Rehearsals are Monday evenings: 7-8:30 p.m. for the DCC and 8:30-
10 p.m. for Tapestry. Extra sectional rehearsals are scheduled as needed.
Dues are $80 per term. Terms run September to December and January to May.
The Delta Choral Society has completed a very successful spring term that saw both choirs compete in New York City at the World Strides Heritage Music Festival.
Both choirs came home with gold awards and lots of memories.
If you are interested in auditioning for either group, come to the Benediction Lutheran Church, 5575-6th Ave., Tsawwassen, on Monday, Sept. 8 at 6:55 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
