Robyn Leake (centre) is raising money with a Christmas craft fair in Beach Grove for her friends Jennifer Schmidt (left) and Laurissa Yurashak’s charity Did it For Them, which donates goods to a Downtown Eastside women’s shelter and helps women set up apartments once they leave the shelter. The craft fair, Sparkle, takes place Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1642-58A St. A donation of a loonie or toonie or a dry/canned food item at the door is suggested while a portion of sales will also be donated.
