The Delta Foundation has provided funding for the Little House Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Society’s Heart of the Family workshop.

“Our Heart of the Family workshop provides an opportunity for family members, spouses and friends to learn about substance use disorder, available resources, and coping skills to help every family member,” said Debbi McKenzie, director of counselling at Little House. “For some families the cost associated with attending the workshop is a barrier. This funding now allows families to participate in this very important workshop without the worry of costs.”

The next Heart of the Family workshop is on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Little House (5061-12th Ave., Tsawwassen). Registration is required and seating is limited. Lunch and materials are provided. Call or text 778-522-5160 or visit www.littlehousesociety.ca to register.

“Delta Foundation is pleased to support Little House Society’s initiatives that help families struggling with substance use disorder,” said Delta Foundation president Peter Roaf.
