The former Ladner Baptist Church building on 47A Avenue and the former McCrea’s Pool Hall on Delta Street, both in Ladner Village, are scheduled to receive Heritage Awards of Merit from Mayor Lois Jackson at next Monday’s Delta council meeting. Members of the Delta Heritage Fishing Committee will receive a Friends of Heritage Award for their work in promoting and preserving fishing heritage in Delta. Scheduled to receive the award are: Doug Massey, John Stevens, Brian Birch, Joan Blair, Peter Capadouca, John D. Capadouca and Michael Wolzen.
