The Outdoor Movie Night series shifts to Diefenbaker Park for its second installment of the summer tomorrow evening.

Activities get underway at 6:30 p.m. while Dr.

Seuss' The Lorax will be shown on the big screen around dusk.

The series, which brings the community and business sector together in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, is presented by the Business Improvement Association of Tsawwassen.

The Goonies kicked off the series last month at Winskill Park. Between 700 and 1,000 people came out and enjoyed great weather, said BIA executive director Barb Westlake.

"We're expecting it to be just as nice this weekend," Westlake said.

Celtic band Doghouse will perform as part of the pre-movie festivities, which will also include activities put on by businesses and community groups.

Local photographer Stephanie Chan will also be doing a fundraiser called Change Your Hair Change A Life with a raffle and photo booth. It will end with Chan having her head shaved. She will be donating her hair to Wigs For Kids in memory of her dad's passing from cancer 10 years ago this August.

She has set up event pages on Facebook and TinyKick.com.

The third and final installment of the series this year is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall when Pirates of the Caribbean will be shown.

Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and flashlights. In case of extreme weather, the event will be rescheduled.
