English Bluff students clean up Tsawwassen Beach

Kyle Marshall (left), Max Edwards-Ryland and Leyton Nobbs were among the contingent from English Bluff Elementary taking part in the 2016 Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup last week. They found 100 pieces of garbage and counted each piece as it went into the bag. Staff and students showed great enthusiasm while proceeding down the Fred Gingell Park stairs to the beach below to collect debris along the shoreline. Students were engaged with nature in a way that immediately shows them how easy it is to make a positive change to the environment.
