It will sound a lot like Christmas at South Delta libraries next weekend.
The Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra will perform some festive music at both the Ladner Pioneer Library and Tsawwassen Library on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Capriccio Strings
will perform in Ladner from 10:30 to 11 a.m. while the orchestra's Wind Ensemble will entertain from 1 to 1:30 p.m. in Tsawwassen.
The performers are part of an orchestral training program for young musicians coming from Delta, Richmond, Vancouver and other parts of the Lower Mainland. The public's presence at the library performances is twofold: not only will the recital get you into the spirit of the season, you'll be offering support and encouragement to some talented young musicians.
