Kin mattresses get new homes

KinVillage in Tsawwassen recently donated more than 30 good quality used mattresses to Rotary World Help. The mattresses, which would have otherwise gone to the landfill, are now headed to the Philippines.

The mattresses, which would have otherwise gone to the landfill, are now headed to the Philippines. John Lusted, recreation director at KinVillage, who is also a member of the Tsawwassen Rotary Club, said he mentioned the surplus mattresses to fellow club member Mary Watson and the donation was quickly organized.
