We have been able to use these funds to support programs and initiatives that aren’t typically covered by government contracts.” The society has been providing services to people with developmental disabilities and their families and friends for over 50 years. It operates a variety of programs and services at sites throughout Tsawwassen, Ladner, North Delta and Surrey, supporting over 150 people with developmental disabilities. Its four core service areas include community inclusion programs, residential services, family services and employment support. For more information, visit www.dcls.ca or call 604-946-9508.
