Representatives from the Tsawwassen Legion were on hand this week to donate $1,500 to the South Delta Little House Society. The money, which was raised through donations during the Legion’s annual poppy campaign, has been earmarked for a special project. The society is currently working on putting together a virtual library, which will be available on its website, aimed at educating teens, their parents and others about drugs and addiction. The society received a $5,000 federal grant for the project. The $1,500 donation from the Legion will help offset some of the remaining $5,000 in costs to complete the project.
