Mayor Lois Jackson handed out certificates last Monday to a few of the winners of Delta’s sixth annual Earth Day photo contest. Over 90 submissions were received with shots of various natural scenes around Delta. The mayor also announced the municipality would launch a heritage banner design contest. The winners will have their designs displayed on banners around town in 2015.
