Tsawwassen Mills and Milestones are hosting an evening of fine food and beverages to support children with special needs.

Mingler at the Mills, set for Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m., will benefit local non-profit Reach Child and Youth Development Society.

“Tsawwassen Mills is committed to supporting community initiatives and is pleased to work with organizations that positively shape our community,” said general manager Julia Dow. “We appreciate the importance of the services provided by Reach Child and Youth Development Society. The Mingler at the Mills event is a great way to show our commitment to the community and strengthen our ties.”

Milestones appetizers will accompany micro-brewery tastes from Four Winds, Parallel 49 and Steamworks in addition to fine spirits from Goodridge & Williams and VQA wines. There will also be Starbucks brews and artisan chocolates as well as live jazz from Gabriel Mark Hasselbach.

“Modelled after a wine festival, this experience offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a reasonably priced evening of deliciousness, socializing and entertainment all the while helping to support the children and families of Reach,” said Reach fundraising manager Kristin Bibbs.

Tickets are $50 and are available online at https://mingler-at-the-mills.eventbrite.ca or in person at Tsawwassen Mills Guest Services or at Reach head office, 5050-47th Ave., Ladner.
