Minister's Minute: Make it a beautiful ending to 2018

Like many of you, I can’t believe that it’s already the end of the year. So what can you do to make this December one you won’t forget? December represents the end pages on your 2018 chapter. Let’s take a moment and think about this.

Like many of you, I can’t believe that it’s already the end of the year. So what can you do to make this December one you won’t forget? December represents the end pages on your 2018 chapter. Let’s take a moment and think about this.

Sometimes we allow things that needed to be settled this year to roll into next year’s story. We allow loose ends to be left untied, and many times those loose ends fill major pages in our next year. If you take some time and make some hard decisions now, it might be one of the best gifts you give yourself this season.

Don’t hold back the forgiveness, love, gentleness, kindness, joy or peace you can bring into your now. Though we can’t resolve every situation, we can choose to close the year with hope and love leading the way. Don’t wait until January to start new. This month can set you up for a beautiful ending to 2018 which will propel you into new beginnings.

For me this year has been full of adventures, challenges, breakthroughs and also heartache. That’s life, my friends. How you want this chapter to end, you get to decide. The pen is in your hand and God will give you the strength and ability to write. So maybe take some time, read your bible, pray and close this year well.

Just so there is no doubt, Jesus is the reason for the season... God gave His Son, the greatest gift ever.

Because of that great gift... Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Have a wonderful Christmas.
