The Delta Photo Club is hosting a presentation with a well-known architect next week.

The club is welcoming Richard Hulbert, who was the lead architect for the master planning of Pacific Place. He has won international awards for his work as an architect and urban designer, and he is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts.

Now retired, Hulbert has rekindled his passion for photography and in the last several years has taught photography around the world.

His presentation, Photographic Composition with an Architect's Eye, discusses both the art and science of composing a photo. It is geared to all photographers, regardless of their level of experience.

Hulbert says he aims to "leave everyone with at least one or two thoughts on photography you haven't yet considered."

The presentation will take place at the next Delta Photo Club meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at KinVillage Community Centre in Tsawwassen from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. Guests are welcome. Admission to the presentation costs $10. For more information visit www.deltaphotoclub. com.
