Second World War veteran and consummate community volunteer Lloyd Jones, who passed away in July at the age of 96, was remembered at a Celebration of Life on Sunday afternoon at Tsawwassen Springs. Jones, who was named Delta’s Citizen of the Year in 2018, was honoured with a military service that included an honour guard, and Delta Police Pipe Band.
