Public libraries offering free entertainment throughout the summer

Is cost a factor when deciding what do this summer? If so, local libraries are here to provide some free entertainment. Teen Night: Pizza and Games will be held on Thursdays, July 23 and Aug. 20, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ladner Pioneer Library.

3D printing has been likened to the Internet — now that it is in existence, people are finding creative ways to utilize the technology. On Saturday, July 11 at the Tsawwassen Library and Saturday, July 25 at the Ladner Pioneer Library, Graeme Bennett will demonstrate 3D printing and talk about innovation. Both sessions run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you like to play the ukulele, knit or crochet, think about dropping in for Library Ukulele Jam on the third Thursday of the month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Tsawwassen Library or Sitting and Stitching on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the Ladner Pioneer Library.
