Reach Child and Youth Development Society will have KinVillage rockin' with its fourth annual Rockin' for Reach benefit concert and dance next month.

Juno Award-winning musician Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, formerly of the Powder Blues, and friends will provide the music for the Oct. 24 event in Tsawwassen.

"The blues are timeless and when we get up there playing, it rocks," says Hasselbach, who promises the dance floor will be full.

Reach fundraising manager Joni Wright interviewed Hasselbach this summer about headlining for Rockin' for Reach 2015. Hasselbach said, "I get to bring together some of the best blues and RB talent in Vancouver for your event."

Fellow performers Lisa Fennell, Olaf DeShield, Cecile LaRochelle and LJ Mountenay are termed "TDWR" in the music industry, which means talent deserving wider recognition.

Wright is anticipating a fantastic live music community event to support Reach's Building for Children Together capital campaign.

Funds from the benefit concert support efforts to build a children's development centre in the heart of Ladner to better serve children with special needs and their families.

Tickets for Rockin' for Reach are available at Albany Books in Tsawwassen and Black Bond Books in Ladner. For more information, visit www.rockinforreach.com.
