KinVillage Community Centre in Tsawwassen has special events lined up to celebrate Seniors Week this year.

A pancake breakfast is planned for Monday to get the week started. The cost is $8 for two buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup, scrambled eggs, two sausages, breakfast potatoes and tea or coffee, according to the centre's newsletter.

That will be followed with free fitness activities in the morning.

"There's a fitness class and a line dancing class we want people to try," says director of recreation John Lusted.

He notes that fitness is "a big part" of KinVillage.

There's also an opportunity to play bridge on Monday afternoon while the centre's Unique Boutique has a sale that day.

Lusted notes The Rockers will play some "old time favourites" Tuesday while the café has a lunch special on Wednesday followed by "Big Bingo."

Shari's Saturday Social Dance rounds out the week on Saturday night.

KinVillage Community Centre is located at 5430-10th Ave., Tsawwassen. Call the centre at 604-943-0225.
