Special guest at Remembrance Day assembly

There was a special guest at Port Guichon Elementary’s Remembrance Day ceremony. After being invited by members of the Grade 7 class, 103-year-old Norman Keith, a Second World War veteran, graciously agreed to attend.

There was a special guest at Port Guichon Elementary’s Remembrance Day ceremony. After being invited by members of the Grade 7 class, 103-year-old Norman Keith, a Second World War veteran, graciously agreed to attend. With handshakes and salutes, many students, staff and parents showed their appreciation and gratitude to Keith for taking the time to share in the assembly. After their tribute to those who have fought for our freedom, the Grade 7 class took some time to pose with Keith.
