Have you or a loved one been touched by cancer?
If so, then next Friday is your chance to join medical doctors and a nutrition team for a free workshop on supportive cancer care.
The workshop will be held on Friday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Centre for Supportive Care (4631 Clarence Taylor Cres, Delta).
The InspireHealth programs are free of charge, although pre-registration is required by calling 604-734-7125.
Practical and evidence-based sessions will cover topics including: nutrition, exercise, stress management, emotional support, learning about empowering information and gain tools for your health and well-being.
The workshop is designed for all adults (16 years and over) with a current or past cancer diagnosis. Support people are also welcome to register.
InspireHealth is a not-for-profit organization partially funded by the BC Ministry of Health. These outreach programs are made available in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society.
