Members of the Tsawwassen Men’s Golf Club are looking forward to opening the 2018 season on Tuesday, March 20 at Tsawwassen Springs.
The club will be starting its 38th year and its executive has prepared an interesting schedule of events for its regular Tuesday afternoon gatherings. In addition to the Monthly Medal competition, there will be intriguing “games” to challenge members as well as the always popular Harry Langham Memorial Ryder Cup competition in June.
Members will enjoy weekly post-game entertainment and award presentations in the clubhouse, while the Final Scramble and renowned banquet with its famous prize table is on Sept. 28.
The club is also proud of its community commitment. This past Christmas, and for the fifth consecutive year, the executive delivered hampers of food, clothing, toys and gift certificates to four schools in Ladner and Tsawwassen to help eight needy families. The hampers were made possible from members’ donations throughout the 2017 season.
