Due to the snow, Delta School District has cancelled the career education night planned for Wednesday evening in North Delta.

Delta School District’s mission is to enable all learners to succeed and contribute their full potential to the future. This includes supporting learners in finding a career that makes them happy, aligns with their values and uses their unique skills and talents.

Delta School District will be offering several free events to help students learn more about various career options open to them. Registration is required for both events.

The first event is a career panel for students in grades 8 to 12 along with their parents/guardians.

Do you want to learn what it takes to be a paramedic, construction worker, journalist or make-up artist? A range of individuals will talk about their education and skills, and offer a glimpse into ‘a day in their life’ at work.

The event is this Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Seaquam Secondary school theatre, (11584 Lyon Road, Delta).
