Thanks to the generosity of many, the volunteers of Women Helping Women South Delta recently prepared more than 600 gift bags.
This marked year eight of the Christmas giving campaign and was the most successful to date. "To our communities from Ladner out to Abbotsford, and everywhere in between, thank you for your amazing generosity," said coordinator Pindi Mann.
"To our elders that could only donate one item but wanted to help, to the students and schools that collected as groups, to the moms who really get why we are doing this, to the lovely business owners and community groups that hosted boxes or donated services/supplies/products, to the office groups that made us their giving program and to every single person who donated a single item, bag full or truck full, our heartfelt thanks. You have ensured that many will have smiles on their faces Christmas morning," Mann added.
