The timeless and uplifting music of ABBA will be celebrated at Genesis Theatre in Ladner next Friday.
The Original Legends of Rock ‘n’ Roll presents ABRA Cadabra, a tribute to the music and magic of the Swedish super group, with powerful vocals, superior musicianship, choreography, costumes, and lots of interesting facts about the real ABBA.
Vancouver-based ABRA Cadabra has been touring the world for over 15 years, including performances in Malaysia, Singapore and Mexico as well as closer to home at the Pacific National Exhibition and the River Rock Casino Resort.
With famous tunes like Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Take a Chance on Me, ABBA has sold millions of records since forming in the early 1970s. The pop group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
ABRA Cadabraperforms Friday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. at Genesis Theatre, 5005-45th Ave.
The show will include the Piano Man, a tribute to Elton John.
