The Wander Inn Cafe is welcoming in the Christmas season on Saturday, Nov. 26, with an enjoyable evening of superb Christmas music that will fill the hall.

Christine Magee will headline the show and will share the platform with other Delta residents Joshua Elliott, Ann Matterson with Julian Neufeld, Nicole Grazier and Daryle Sherman of the well-known duo Kindred Spirits and Michael Hart, who now resides in New Westminster.

Magee is a singer, songwriter and pianist who performs a variety of genres from soul, jazz and gospel to pop and rock.

Elliott plays piano and other instruments for school ceremonies, church services, recitals, musicals, carnivals, banquets and more. His passion is cinematic composition.

Matterson is currently training in jazz and contemporary voice at VCC. The musical theatre community finds her performing and choreographing, as well as, teaching musical theatre at Studio West Dance and The Stage Musical Theatre Academy.

Neufeld has been playing guitar for 14 years. Creating music both alone and with local musicians is among his greatest passions. He has also performed in Delta Youth Theatre’s productions, as Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast.

Kindred Spirits have been a part of Delta’s music scene for more than 25 years, performing at special events such as Delta’s summer ‘Concert in the Park’ series and Canada Day. They also entertain at senior centress, coffee houses and other local and private events.

Hart is a gifted songwriter and troubadour who loves playing Christmas events.

He has recorded nine albums and toured Canada extensively from 1985 to 2020.

Come and enjoy this family-friendly event, complete with Christmas décor at the Lighthouse Church Delta (5545 Ladner Trunk Road). Doors open at 6:45 for the 7:30 p.m. show. Admission is $15 per person. Light refreshments will be served.
